I just sent Melany a message saying she was getting lots of love from the MDC ladies, and she gave me a quick update.

Melany said they were actually flown into Seattle for the surgery, and that it has been a really scary experience. Anna came out of surgery last night at 1am, and her intestine was so small that the only thing that would fit through it was a tiny needle. I guess she'd been having some nursing problems, and the intestine issue pretty much explains why. They're going to be at the hospital for a while.

I don't know what happens next, but hopefully the emergency part is over. And they're at Seattle Children's Hospital, so they should be in really good hands.

Seattle Children's is definitely one of the best places to be when you are a sick kid, but it blows that they have to be there. Prayers and hugs for Melany and Anna.

More prayers and positive thoughts needed. Ellie just sent me a text that Harrison has been admitted to the NICU for a bowel obstruction. They are unsure of he will need surgery at this time.
