Yeah for more babies!
post #366 of 7943/2/13 at 9:44pmIts almost 10pm pacific time and i'm thinking about buko. She went into labor this morning, (seemed like early labor), i wonder if she's had her baby yet??
post #367 of 7943/3/13 at 6:19amThank you for all the insights ladies! Looks like my little cub will be making a debut a little later. No more regular contractions and I'm not feeling the need to wear laboring clothes anymore.
LDoulaSteph - haha! I think you are right. The other day my mom told me she felt contractions for a day or two before the practically coming out in the car scene. *facepalm
GranolaMom - mw said to call back when I was having regular contractions, feeling them lower in my uterus, and stronger than before.
Friday night I had just that for about 5 hours, but then it slowed down. I figured if I could sleep through contractions, there is no need to call.
writermama - "my body is brilliant, my body is working, my body is brilliant, my body is working." I'm gonna keep telling myself that :)
raingardenmama - thanks for sharing your experience. Makes me feel like I'm not wierd. It's hard to trust exactly what's going on when you are laboring for the 1st time. I came to a similiar conclusion to not worry about timing and just focus on change in intensity. We've established my body can do regular contractions hahah! Comforting to hear that method actually worked for you. Looking back I'm very happy I came home and had this weekend to continue to prepare.
Thanks again ladies, I really appreciate the support. Going to back to life as usual - church today and DH will go into work on Monday. Carry on!
Good luck to Buko! Micah mae - how are you doing?

I'm good, trying not to be mad at my body. ;) 6 hours of "labor" night before last that I couldn't sleep through and then just stopped. I guess when it happens for real that's just less that we have to do!
