We haven't had anyone to go through labor with (wink wink) for a while now...I wonder who will be next? Any bets?

 

edit to add: of course besides delilah 2 days ago and MP. I do hope delilah is well and holding that baby.

I had the worst night I've had in a long time as far as intensity of contractions goes, and I was really hoping it might lead to something today, all the while telling myself it probably wouldn't.

 

Yeah... not in labor today. ;) Sigh! Just tired now!

My doula called those nights of fruitless contractions "labour on an installment plan."  Snort.

Ha! That's a great way to put it. I guess if it's an installment plan, I have 3 months of payments under my belt now! ;) Here's hoping it pays off when the big day actually comes!

Just a quick update. We had our baby girl last night at 8:11pm, it was a fantastic home birth! I caught her myself, in the water. She was almost born in the caul, it broke as her head was being born. I will write up the birth story soon... But until then, I'm loving our baby moon! Lucianna Quinn... 8.2oz. And 21.5 long
