Hi, I had my son 4 months ago and have only recently felt my cervix, (as havent dared before now due to feeling sore) and it seems I have what feels like a huge tear. I had emergency c section under general anesthetic at 8 cm dilated due to baby in distress. I lost 2.5 litres of blood apparently so needed a transfusion. At 6 week post natal check was told about a tear to my uterus but nothing about my cervix. My cervix now (sorry for too much info) but feels like i have a flap :( and seems as tho it wasnt stitched.
Is it somthing that should have been stitched or would be fine left? If it should have been stitched, would it have happened in surgery or after? At 6 week check doc only checked my c section scar, nothing else. Should he have checked cervix then?
I felt very let down by my care during labour so im questioning my after care too. cant help it. Sorry it a huge essay but just need a bit of help. Thank you to anyone taking time to read!!
But after it all i got my beautiful amazing son so all worth it in the end! xx
