Thanks! I should totally look into a yoga class too.. Like yoga for level -5. ;)

I feel like my prenatal yoga class has saved my body and my sanity several times this pregnancy. It's one of the highlights of my week. If you can find a good one, it might help keep you out of the chiropractor's office sometimes, and would be a much cheaper alternative. But then, I found an awesome class, and yoga works for me, which it doesn't for everyone. smile.gif

That sounds amazing, I don't know if there is yoga around here though..we're in central Texas and it's pretty western around here..

I saw a chiropractor, today. I felt so light and loose after! It was amazing!

I've been twice since I started this thread..I feel better already but my hips are still super immobile. He thinks we can get them functional by the time the baby comes though so fingers crossed!

I'm loving the validation for taking care of our bodies! I was putting off the chiro for my hip pain for $ reasons and also simply the time I felt guilty taking. I've now gone twice in the past week and will go again Monday. I still have some pain but have not found myself halfway off the floor and unable to move in excruciating pain like before. Turns out I only have to pay a $20 copay (!) and as for the time, well, I'm the one who's hopefully going to be pushing this guy out through those hips so...I'm saying I deserve it. We all do!

Yes, we do! smile.gif

micah_mae, I'm so glad the chiropractor visits are helping! Sorry there aren't more yoga options around you. I'm in Seattle - it's everywhere here. smile.gif If you're interested, I asked my yoga instructor for DVD recommendations for another friend. She said anything by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa should be good, and particularly liked a DVD called "Prenantal Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for Mothers to Be." She also recommended staying away from anything by Shiva Rea, who's out there on a lot of DVDs, but apparently is much more hardcore and pushy. My yoga teacher teaches in a way that's both gentle and strengthening, which I really like. So, just another possibility!
