Hey mamas. I have a very dear friend who just had her 2nd DD. Long story, short: during her 3rd month of pregnancy, she found out her husband of 8 years had been cheating on her and was planning to leave her after the baby was born. Her pregnancy was very very difficult time for her because of this and there were many bumps in the road but she managed to move back across the country and is now surrounded by family and friends. She is in love with her new daughter and I am so relieved that they are both doing well. I have been trying to think of a nice gift for her and the baby. Her children are her everything right now and she has done very little for herself. I was thinking a massage but I can't guarantee she will use it/like it. She used to love to knit, read, drink wine..
As for the new babe, she has most everything she needs but I know the future will be harder. She went from living a very comfortable life to being unemployed and living with her parents. But she wants to get her own place soon. I was just thinking maybe I should get her something she will need down the road like diapers. I am just having a hard time deciding so I just thought I would put it out there to see if any of you have any ideas. Thank you.
