Birth tub liners « Back to Group Discussions

I have our birth tub liner on the washing line trying to get rid of the vinyl smell. So far no luck. Anyone have some ideas?

No new ideas, except we did this with the new tarp we got for under the tub and left it outside for several days (it did also get rained on, which may have helped) and it worked.  Thanks for bringing this up; I'd forgotten that the liner might be smelly too and I'll have to put ours out tomorrow!

ours smelled when we got it out and set up the tub and the smell went away after a few days - maybe sooner, it was in the basement but i know that by 1 week after it was out there was no sign of the smell

Thank you both! It's been a couple of days so far. Fingers crossed it's fine by the time it has to come indoors.
