Best menstrual cup for after a BIG baby?

Just over a year postpartum, and my cycle has returned! And after three cycles...wow. It's changed. Much heavier, and my Diva cup (size 2) that worked so well after my first child (8lbs, April 2009) is not working at all after my second (10+lbs, November 2011). I can't walk around with it in, it shifts, it leaks. I'm doing Kegels, but is there another, better cup for my situation? Maybe any other reusable product? I'm using cloth pads as backup, but I don't really care to use those full-time; my cycle is just too heavy for pad-only use (like, changing it every half-hour would be necessary).

You could try using The Keeper -- it's made of a firmer material than the Diva, so may stay in place better for you. Alternatively, you could try using sea sponge tampons in conjunction with cloth pads. I know a lot women with heavy flow who do this, and it helps. Also, since sea sponges don't need to be in a specific position to work, fit is not an issue. Hope that helps!

I got a MeLuna in XL and it's working better than my size 1 Diva. I've heard good things about the bigger Lunette size also, as far as diameter goes.

Try googling for the menstrual cup group on livejournal, they have some posts with dimensions for the different cups and photos with them side by side so you can see the difference. I might also suggest using cloth pads for a few months till things get back to normal a bit more, that's what I did.

That is enormously helpful; I didn't know about the LJ group! The MeLuna and cloth pad backups might be just what I need. Thank you!
