Saw the heartbeat today...

Whew, I can relax a little bit now. Had a dr's appointment today, did vaginal ultrasound, saw that little heart beating. It was so fast! I forgot how fast they beat when they are little. Now just a few more weeks till I'm out of the first trimester. It was a relief to see there was actually something in there, it was alive and kicking. Anyone else gone for their 2nd appt yet?

Well, it was technically my first appointment I had had on the 9th, and had a vaginal u/s as well,the hb was 175,common for size of the babe and all.
It was exciting to see my babe moving along!
My next u/s&doc. appointment is on the 4th of May, my placenta so far is completely covering my cervix,although I have been told I have a 90% chance of if moving, they still want to do monthly u/s on me for now....

We had our first u/s and saw the heartbeat too So reassuring! I have my second midwife appt. tomorrow. The u/s was done by the u/s tech last week. She actually did one on top of my tummy which I've never had this early before.
