Feeling your own cervix? « Back to Group Discussions

Has anyone tried? I'm hoping to some day be a midwife, and I thought being able to feel my own cervix as it changes would be a great learning experience. Problem is, I CAN'T REACH IT! It's so far in there! I'm frustrated. I want to feel it SO BADLY!

I tried recently, and also couldn't reach! I think it's also harder when there's a belly to reach around. Can't get quite as good of an angle.

Me neither. To make you feel better, my mw even admitted that she couldn't reach hers. I'm not planning on trying anyway, but I know from trying to insert the EPO caplets up there. My mw were talking about this article though - maybe it will help those who want to:
