Home birth or waterbirth help in northeast ohio!

Hi Everyone, 

This is my second baby and I am 6 months along. My first labor and delivery was not what I wanted at all to say the least. I had everything from pit to an epidural (administered by a STUDENT without my consent), 3 different nurses, choas and a long uncomfortable stay in the hospital. This time around I am so desperate to do it completely the opposite. I want calm, beautiful, NO interventions and if possible in my home. I have had a very difficult time finding a midwife here in NE Ohio. I have interviewed 2. The first gave me no feelings of security if an emergency were to arise and the second was amazing and we said yes to her but now she hasn't responded to me in over a week and a half! Not very comforting. Can anybody help me with names or places they would recommend for a calm natural birth experience. 

I have been considering St. Johns in westshore where they do offer waterbirth and a natural child birthing room however it is an hour from me and I would rather have the baby at home. BUT if this is my only option I will do it. Like I said... I will do whatever it takes to give this baby the entrance into this world he so much deserves.

It took me 2 emails and a phone call for her to write back and say she did reply back to my phone call. I was thrown by her response because I am overly sweet and very understanding in my emails and phone calls and she just gives really short and non emotional answers. Almost making me feel a bit crazy. Which is very disappointing because I really liked her when we met her. 

This is very emotionally draining trying to find the right fit when I am already 6 months along. I am so thrilled about wanting to do a homebirth this time around or even an unmedicated birth in a hospital but I truthfully believe I need to find the right midwife to make either one of those possible.
