3.5yo and nighttime bedwetting, advice?

DS is doing great during the day, very few accidents anymore.  We were excited to get rid of the diapers at night as we noticed they were more often dry than not.  So we switched to thicker undies, mattress protector and crossed our fingers.  For several months, he would go at least a week without nighttime bedwetting, then out of nowhere he's been wetting the bed every night.  We have tried getting up with him to go potty but this ends up being a traumatic and lengthy event.  We don't want to regress to diapers.  Any ideas/suggestions?  Thanks!!

Anyone have any advice??

Good luck mama and I hope things are better.

This is written by an AP anthropologist mama and, while I don't have any personal experience with bedwetting, her advice has always been spot on for me.

we are doing pretty well, we get up once a night to take ds to the potty which has eliminated almost all accidents.  still a work in progress but we're getting there!
