Anyone have a long labor after a very short labor?

I'm curious what stories are out there. My first was a c/s after 17hrs of labor, my second was a 2 hour VBAC, which was very surprising. I'm thinking it's likely my next labor would also be short (even if not as short as 2 hours) and wonder if anyone experienced something different. I was keen on doing I could to have her in a good position, and also had chiropractic care (both of which I'll repeat this time).

My second child took longer than my first. I think it had to do with being more comfortable with the people around me when I was birthing the first time around. That said, I don't know many people who have had shorter births the first time.
