There was one baby born last night and another mama's water broke early this morning! Hold on to your hats ladies, we're getting close!

I've been watching them, waiting for the first one, because the sooner theirs start coming, the sooner ours start coming.

It's Catch .22 for me, IronMam. I'm excited to meet this LO, but at the same time, I still have *way* more to do than I have ever had before at this point in my pregnancies. So while I'm excited, I'm also very nervous/worried. I feel like I'm/we're toeing the line with having everything ready, and I *really* don't like it. So I'm on the fence, I guess, now that I think about it.

I  can wait at least until my due date.  I have several "things" to get through first and a house that I want to be much more organized before adding a fourth child to the mix.  Due day is 4/5 and at the earliest I want an April Fools Baby.

I'm not ready, but I'm ready :) More excited I should say. I have my shower on Saturday and we'll see what I need after that but I'll have my ducks in a row early March.

Oh my!  So not ready!  Luckily my EDD is at the end of the month.  

On the other hand I'm so excited to meet this baby, have our (hopefully natural) hospital birth and NICU stay behind me, and get everyone home!

Ok I will be the odd man out....MORE THAN READY!!! LOL. The only reason I have things left undone is because my giant list is desinged specifically to keep me busy!! LOL. I am soooooo excited for labor and to meet this little one we've waited so long for, I can hardly stand it. I seriously have to distract myself from thinking about it or I get antsy and depressed that I still have so long!!!

I totally feel the same way! I count days everyday lol we've waited 7 long years for this baby, even if everything doesn't get done that I would like it'll all be fine! I just can NOT wait to meet her and hold her and kiss her and smell her from head to toe!!! *sigh* <3

I've been thinking of Cananny, has anyone heard from her? I wonder if she's still just waiting it out at the hospital or if the boys arrived...

While I cannot wait to have baby here already, if I stop and imagine her suddenly being born today it scares me a bit.  I can't imagine dropping everything as is and coming back home with a newborn.  I think I really need to start planning out the logistics, as far as who will be around to drive me and take the kids, as I'm alone with them 12+ hours of the day, etc.   I do have a good support network,, but I'm not a "wait and see" kind of person.

I'm excited to meet Calliope, but so scared at the same time! I think this is the most worried I've been for a pregnancy, I feel like a first timer or something haha! Oh, I also can wait to experience transition again, I can't forget THAT pain.

^Totally with you on transition. I felt like I was dealing pretty well throughout my last labor, and then transition hit and I had a moment of complete PANIC because I just could NOT stay on top of it! So intense!! Then somebody mentioned that it looked like this was transition and I just had this huge wave of relief, lol. I totally thought labor was going to go for hours and hours more at that new level of pain. Fortunately for me, pushing came just a few minutes after the words "transition SUCKS!" passed my lips. :P

SO! Yeah. Definitely hoping to avoid that panicked feeling this time around!! Any suggestions or helpful tips welcome, lol...

Have you tried Rescue Remedy? I have read it is really helpful for some women in that very situation. I take it in water during labor just for it's effect in general...not sure if it has helped me with transition specifically but I can say for certain that I hven't ever felt that panicky feeling, so maybe it has...?
