I had my baby!!

Atlas was born at 1129 am today, 5 March. I came in at 730, dr broke my water at 830. I was feeling so sad about not waiting for it to happen, and my ctx were like 8 minutes apart, so that scared me. I didn't want pitocin. Dh had to go to the bathroom and I felt one awful ctx so I called him out. He got me off the ball and onto the bed, nurses checked me, 5cm. Then he started rubbing my heels and the ctx were two min apart, double peaking. But didn't show on the monitor. I was having a hard time! Then he got up and said he was taking my socks off, he knew it was time. Babies head was crowning when a nurse peeked in, then he kind of got stuck, shoulder wise. I pushed with everything and he was out. There was a LOT of blood this time, and he pooped on the way out. The dr still missed it!!!
Oh, and he weighed 9lb11oz!!! I am now so relieved I let her break my water, he could have been so big if I didn't pop for another week or so!
