Wow, congrats MPsweetie - what a great story. A midwife friend of mine advised me not to worry too much if they have to break the water for the very reason you stated. It's very helpful to read about positive experiences with interventions since sometimes I guess they are needed. Anyway, big congrats to you and to all the new mums!

I'm wondering the same thing as raingardenmama wink1.gif. It sounds really funny, like you NEEDED your socks off or else your baby wouldnt come out properly lol.gif

Lol! I ruined my socks during my last two labors, they were so fast I was just in a puddle of fluid on the bed.
