Ok, i couldnt figure out anyother place to ask this... i am 38 1/2 weeks and feeling close. this is babe #2. I just looked at my yoni in a mirror and was surprised how, uh, open it looks. whats up? is this normal. why is my yoni gaping open?

It's probably pressure from ur baby!!!  Your body remembers EXACTLY what to do!   I'd say you have an in arms babe soon!  (But u knew that part already!winky.gif)

Hmmm, I don't know the answer to that, but now I'm curious to look at mine.

Seriously, as soon as I get off work, I'm going to check things out down there.

I'm kind of scared at what I'll find!

Spughy, you're a riot! ROTFLMAO.gif

Funnily enough, before I saw this thread I decided to hack away some of the serious overgrowth down there earlier.......quite risque using a razor with no view of what I'm doing but everyone will at least be able to see what's happening now at least. I *may* have left myself go a little bit feral during this pregnancy. Time for sprucing up methinks.

I have the opposite problem, and have some swelling. icepacks in your underwear, good times.

Slim - I'm definitely "all natural" down there.  I can't come close to reaching anything to trim and I don't want it to look worse for the trying wink1.gif

I haven't noticed much that looks different, but I feel all open and stretchy, so I figure it's the body just doing what it's done before.  I would like to grab a mirror though and check again....

I'm patchy now, but at least I feel better about what was going on down there.redface.gif

I am usually one to go almost completely au naturel (except shaving my upper thighs-- which I have managed to maintain blind in this last month or so).  As a figure model for art schools, hair definitely makes me feel "less naked," LOL.  (One model called it her "backup underwear.")  Plus I get a lot of itching/ingrown hairs if I shave or wax...  eh, never seemed worth it to me to try and figure it out and maintain it.

I have noticed that like my head hair, everything has gotten seemingly longer and thicker in pregnancy, and it's been sort of tangling on me, somehow.  So I told DH he was to give me a haircut when I got closer to delivery.  Tonight's the night!  Just a trim with scissors, definitely not shaving, but it will definitely make things a little easier, I think, especially considering the muck that will be there soon.

Luckily, I did buy this to spray diapers, and DH just installed it:

Of course, as a Filipino, he loves it, LOL.  No need for a tabo!  Should be nice PP, too.

Isn't the water super cold, and the spray super intense?!?!??? We just got one and installed it, but I haven't had the nerve to try it on anything other than DD's potty seat...

The water IS cold, but not unbearable to me-- at least not right now, LOL.  I have my peri bottle I can fill with warm water, anyway.  The spray can be adjusted down so it's not super-strong, though.

This is what happens to me.

My hair grows like crazy whilst preg...all over my body.

My nether region hair had gotten so unruly that it was getting caught on my underwear/panty liners and causing irritation.

It really had to go!

We haven't installed our diaper sprayer yet, but I'm lookihng forward to it.
