Rhinitis and vertigo?? « Back to Group Discussions

For the past week I have been dealing with rhinitis and vertigo! It usually starts late at night and I notice it in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom and in the morning when I wake up. As the morning goes on I notice it starts to go away usually by lunch time. I feel it in my forehead and around my eyes and sinus area. When I use saline spray I do notice some drainage. I haven't read anything about rhinitis causing vertigo although it could just be that feeling you get when you have allergies and your head feels like it's swimming or something.

Any other suggestions? Homeopathic nasal sprays?

Have you tried using a neti pot? I've had terrible sinus problems for years (until my naturopath gave me some Chinese herbs that cleared most of it up!), and a neti pot really does help! Takes a little while to get used to, but I am a big fan. Just use filtered water! :)

Another vote for the neti pot.  I actually use the NeilMed sinus rinse bottle because I am not very coordinated with the teakettle looking thing, but it really works.  Shortened 5 days off this cold I have!
