In the hospital the pediatrician told me to leave it alone.. and let him retract it. Now at my sons 2 month check up, the dr retracted his penis just as part of a routine check. My son did not seem particularly upset by it but I was horrified! He pushed back on his foreskin until his penis popped out. I told him I was under the impression never to do that. I will be more vigilant in the future that everyone who comes in conact with my child leaves his penis alone, but it never occured to me to worry in a drs office. So, what exactly does retracting it do and is there something I should do or watch for now that its happened? Thanks
