baby massage helpful for ppd :)

Just came across this great article...I naturally feel the urge to massage my lo so this is very comfortng. I like to use extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed if you can find it, and warm it up by rubbing it in my hands beforehand (makes my hands nice and soft too smile.gif

This makes a lot of sense to me. When I had PPD, skin-to-skin touch seemed to help. Also, I felt like I wasn't a good mom and couldn't make her happy (she was colicky) but she did like baby massage so when I was doing baby massage at least during that period of time, I felt like I was doing a reasonably good job.
