How is everyone feeling? - Page 6

I'm reeeeeeeally hoping for everyone's nausea/vomiting to go away soon.  I hate seeing y'all so miserable!

You're so sweet smile.gif mine is getting worse rather than better... What's up with that little one inside of me?!? I just hope I'm not miserable through my entire cruise in a little over a week greensad.gif

My nausea is definitely getting worse also. Some days its good, other days I feel really sick.

Hopefully you'll get too no sickness soon if it is on and off!!

You all are giving me post traumatic stress thinking about my last pregnancy with severe vomiting. I had to carry a big cup in the car so I could barf while driving. This time I think I have escaped and I feel sooooo fortunate. I hope it doesn't last for all of you and that at the very least, if you take meds they actually work!! I am 8 weeks today so I'm guessing this is as bad as it will get. I've thrown up a few times but I don't have constant nausea. I'm just tired and really angry/irritable.

Thanks for asking! I'm doing alright so far at 5 weeks and 3 days. My breasts are very, very tender and my neck, back & hips have been pretty sore too. I'm craving bacon like no one's business and I'm pretty sleepy most of the time too. Other than these things, everything's going pretty well!

I'm queasy off and on, my breasts are a bit sore and I feel bloated. Otherwise, everything is fine. I'm about 5w 5d.

Oh Mamas, I am still feeling so yucky. I feel nauseous off and on constantly. And nothing seems to really help anymore. Eating sometimes makes it better, sometimes worse, I never know! I woke up this morning feeling blissfully well, I was SO excited thinking, YES, it's over! But no, just held off a bit longer. I had nothing like this with my DD. No fun!

I'm so sorry you ladies are feeling awful too... I threw up for almost 12 hours last night greensad.gif I have been taking zofran but I really couldn't keep it down. I'm so scared I am going to have to go to the hospital because I am really really dehydrated. I did eat some lunch today so that was great. Ugh feel better everyone! Just remember it won't last too long and it's so worth it in the end!

I'm 8+5 and have been experiencing basically constant nausea for more than three weeks now. It's awful. :( I feel so bad for the ladies who are nauseated and puking! I can't even imagine how bad that would be. I have a bit of a vomit phobia so I'm considering myself lucky that I'm only severely nauseated.

And DH and I are leaving on holiday tomorrow. We're taking a 14 hour ferry and then will be camping for three nights. Not sure if this is the worst idea ever or not. I don't think so but ILs think we are crazy. shrug.gif

Well after feeling like hell for probably two weeks (nausea), I have suddenly in the past two days felt pretty okay...? I am only 7w5d so I think it's too early for morning sickness to subside, no? This is the first time I've had morning sickness and I'm kind of worried about the sudden disappearance :/

i also have a cold so maybe my body is just prioritizing the illnesses...

I hope you don't have to go to the hospital! Does your PCP office have the option of an IV? I had an awful case of the norovirus last year, and DH called the PCP office because I was so dehydrated my vision was getting blurry. They said to come in and they would give me a drip there. So very much more pleasant than the ER.

I am nauseous off and on. I'm 7 weeks 5 days, I think. Sometimes eating helps, sometimes it makes it worse. Which is annoying. It's really not too bad, I can eat anything, I'm not throwing up, it's not constant. But I just have no patience for it! I'm so tired, but have no opportunity to rest. This is the first time I've been homeschooling during a pregnancy, and it stinks! I think I need to somehow get our work done earlier and plan a nap into the afternoon. I've just been pushing through the exhaustion, but I think it's making me too grumpy. And impatient with feeling bad.

I think ill have to go to the ER if I feel it is necessary :/ my mind was so messed up I totally forgot that blurry vision is a sign of dehydration... I had that today but I think that also could have been lack of calories. I've eaten today (nothing really great for me, but I am going to for quantity over quality right now if I can keep it down) and had some ice cream this evening and I am feeling a little more stable... Now I really wish my provider had the option of IV there... Maybe they'll surprise me on Monday!

That has got to be tough. Luckily if I feel too bad I can just call off- you can't call off on your kiddos. I hope you feel better soon!

jjh- I feel for you. I"m the same, although the zofron is stopping most of the vomiting, I"m not handling fluids well at all. I see my midwife on Tuesday though so will hang in till then with this revolting constant nausea and see if she can recommend anything else.

I hate being pg. I love the idea of it, but the reality of it (for me) is HORRID. :(

I'm so sorry so many of you are also feeling so rotten! Jjh It sounds like you definitely need to get in touch with your provider. If you can't keep foods and especially liquids down, a short hospital stay might quickly do the trick. The IV meds tend to be much more effective. I know it sounds scary but it wouldn't be a long stay. Andimama I actually don't think it's too too early to be gone. With my DD I had mild-moderate nausea off and on from 5 weeks through 7 weeks and then it suddenly disappeared. Fx this will be your experience too!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! Let us know what they say on Tuesday!

I know I am being SUCH a baby about this :/ I am keeping down food and liquids so far since last night and I know this is really weird but this talenti gelato I bought actually made me feel better? I may have been the cold or just a little but of calcium giving me some energy but this morning I am just slightly nauseous! I feel like I am not nearly as dehydrated so I will try to make it through today and go to the doctor tomorrow and see what they say. I don't know if I explained what actually happened yesterday- but I am convinced this is why I was SO sick! For some reason when I went to take my prenatal last night the taste of it just made me instantly sick and I threw up EVERYTHING I had eaten. So 1) I went to bed hungry 2) I couldn't get down ANY vitamins. I ate a few crackers before I went to sleep but obviously that wasn't sufficient and I truly think that my b complex and taking zofran before bed is helping more than anything (is that crazy?).

Anyway thank you all for your kind words and sweet advice- I will definitely be going to the hospital if I don't improve by this afternoon!!

My boobs stopped being sore while I had my cold last week so I think there is some merit to this, andi.  Now they're back to being the bane of my existence. lol

AFM, my stomach has felt..... unstable the last few days, but I don't know if that's because of m/s starting up or the gobs and gobs of snot I keep swallowing (sorry for the TMI).  I bought and ate some crystallized ginger last night that actually helped.  I was pleasantly surprised.
