How is everyone feeling? - Page 2

How's everyone doing now? :)

I'm starting to feel a bit tired and have a few queasy moments in the evenings and slightly sore nipples but not much else! Am only about 4 weeks though, even though I got my BFP nearly a week ago- crazy early. Sill cycles :-/

Warning! Whining ahead!

I am so freakin' nauseated and so fatigued. I took a ten-minute nap between meetings today. And the throwing up nausea is here. greensad.gif

Starfishll--I feel you!

I was really hoping to avoid the whole morning sickness deal...no such luck. It struck on Monday night at the gym, and that night I had the worst heartburn of my life...kept me up most of the night! Still feel like I am constantly seasick...even small movements sometimes make me feel off kilter and super queasy. Preggie pops help some, and I ordered accupressure bands. Read goji juice is supposed to be really good, but it's kinda pricey so I'm holding off.

I also starting getting the preggo moodiness recently...got in a big argument with my best friend over something stupid and cried for half an hour over it. *sigh*

On the positive side, the bloating has let up some. It was so bad it was making me look way more pregnant than I actually am for a couple days there lol.

The weirdest thing so far is waking up early and not being able to sleep in...and I have never been a morning person.

Yep, 6 weeks today, first barf.  Um, hooray?  I was starving again afterwards.  I feel this is a big waste of food.

Sleepymama upside is you can eat all the junk food and not worry about calories lol
post #26 of 146

I did that with my last pregnancy. I ate a lot of ice cream because I knew it wasn't going to stay down, so might as well...  I really liked cold stuff with my last pregnancy too.  It's not nearly as bad this time though, thank goodness.

today i am 7 weeks! whoot.

feeling extremely tired and a bit quesy. i am drinking ginger tea and have been taking b6 (at my mom's suggestion - she is a prenatal nurse).

i crave bagels constantly and am not as interested in sugar as i was before (yay!). i've had very light cramps on and off.

the days where there are fewer symptoms freak me out too. this is my first pregnancy and it's starting to feel quite real!

i am really bloated and have shortness of breath (symptom of the extra progesterone i'm on apparently.)

jmc, I'm also not very interested in sugar.  Where was this anti-desire when I was trying to lose weight??? lol

I'm still not entirely sure how things are calculated so I think I'm just a couple days away from being 5 weeks.  I don't feel much of anything different except boobs that are still PMS-type tender and a "blah I don't really wanna do anything" kind of mood.  Not really worried that I'm not pregnant anymore... maybe I'm just a slow learner?  lol.gif

I have been pretty queasy on and off for the past few weeks. I was 6 weeks yesterday! Today I came close to throwing up, but I was exactly like this with other 3 kiddos- never quite threw up, but definitely nauseous. And brushing my teeth makes me gag and sometimes throw up. And some days I feel perfectly fine! So weird.

I'm glad I'm not alone here! Let the cat out of the bag with a coworker today because his cologne almost made me sick and he asked (jokingly) if I was pg... Well I can't lie lol! Also last night I almost screamed in pain because (tmi) my nipple itched and I scratched it (OVER my bra) and it hurt so badly! It literally brought tears to my eyes!

still pretty early here (EDD 11/26). I'm feeling a little run down, some breast tenderness and having to pee alot. I don't like the smell or taste of coffee anymore (yuck!).

5 weeks today here, had some diarhea and cramping which I think has stopped now thankfully. Boobs are sore and last night I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep for a while but that could be due to over thinking things as I only found out I'm pregnant yesterday, feel tired but what's new? I don't know if that is normal tiredness or pregnancy tiredness. Oh and more gassy for sure.

Another symptom I don't remember from my other 3 first trimesters--I'm hot all the time.  I wake up drenched in sweat every night.  I live in northern New England so it's not like it's hot in my house at all.  I feel like I'm having hot flashes and night sweats.  I'm clearly not menopausal though!

Does anyone else have a nasty, sour taste in their mouth?  I remember this very well from DD.  It went on the entire pregnancy, and this time it started a few days ago.  It's so gross.  Nothing helps get rid of that taste, but it was gone within a few minutes after she was born.

Tremieli I have that too!! Its terrible. It goes away briefly while I am eating but comes back soon after. Plus I'm having difficulty brushing my tongue (hello gag reflex) when I brush my teeth so that doesn't help!

Another totally weird thing I can't stand is that my lips are super peely. UGH it grosses me out. If any small piece peels into my mouth it makes me vomit.

I'm having a nasty taste in my mouth as well! Brushing my teeth doesn't do anything about it, unfortunately.

Hello all, I'm first-time pregnant, first-time forum post!

I am about 3 weeks since conception, 5 weeks 'pregnant'. First time try and it happened. Surreal.

Not feeling that much except for on-and-off period-like pain, sometimes it gets worse with gas, last week a horrid one got me in the middle of the night!

Other than that I'm feeling impatient to FEEL pregnant! ;) I've been spiritually preparing for pregnancy for months... or even about 2 years.

Welcome and congrats, clovebucket!  That's a lot like my situation, too: first time trying, first pregnancy, etc.

Thanks! All my other 'symptoms'... such as what you say about 'don't feel like doing anything mood', could be normal for me..;) Along with gas, bloating, desire to have naps, weird cravings/meal ideas, mood swings.. in fact pregnancy for me will proudly be an official excuse for all those and more ;)

Oh my gosh yes I have become the laziest person!! I just can't bring myself to do anything. I get home from work and lay down on the couch and pretty much don't move until I get myself up to go to bed. My poor children! Last night my son was like "you haven't read to us in so long!" So I swore tonight I will read stories (DH has been doing it or they have been reading to themselves).

I don't even feel that sick (when I do feel sick it comes in waves and passes fairly quickly either by throwing up or by eating a snack). So its not like I need to lie down because I'm sick. I just need to lie down because I want to lie down soooooo bad and thats all I want to do.
