Recently divorced here and while the kids see xdh regularly usually 1 overnight a week plus one evening.together, their relationship never really was the typical Ds father bonding experience I envisioned. Ds looks up to xdh but was always more of a mamas boy until dd came along, he started school, I found out xdh was cheating and I was not there as much emotionaly for Ds as I was in the past and xdh stepped up some. Their relationship is.a better than pre divorce but xdh gives dd a lot.more attention. I feel Ds gets jealous of xdh and dd .
Anyway I am seeing Ds is becoming affextionate toward men, ie will hug them. This has happened several times, with the pastor, his basketball coach, my uncle, a layman at the church. Xdh saidhe hugged a coworker of his, and xdh was not happy about it.
So is this normal, should I be concerned, just a phase, reactions to the divorce?
