Is it just me....

Or is anyone else extremely excited about the changes going on with their body?!

I am a very fair skinned redhead and the size and color of my areolas is making me ecstatic!  I talk about it daily and it makes me giggle and smile from ear to ear every time I look at them.  There is actual color to them!  And getting darker almost daily.  Even though I thought my breasts couldn't much bigger, I think they are in fact growing even more (and not just through the nipples, although that is for sure happening).

Speaking of, do you have a favorite bra you have been wearing?  I am not a bra wearer and I am finally at a point where it needs to happen NOW.  My breasts touch the top of my stomach now and it's starting to get uncomfortable (not to mention the wonderful sweat marks I get on all my shirts right under boob level).  I haven't bought a bra in almost 10 years and need some suggestions!

Maybe this is all TMI, but I needed to share my excitement!  Yay Breasts!

I just bought a nursing bra from motherhood maternity and I absolutely love it.  I've been wearing it everyday.  I was shocked when I realized that I've gone from a D cup to an E cup (I hope they go back down)....  but it supports me and feels comfortable.  It was reasonably priced and I know that I will get use out of it since it is a nursing bra.

I'm so happy for you and excited that you are enjoying your new breasts!  joy.gif  That's wonderful.  I am really enjoying my belly.  It's fun to have a round belly that feels so different than it did before.  Now I understand why you always see pregnant women touching their bellies.  I'm fine with my breasts but they were big and rested on my chest before I got pregnant.  I went from a 34DD to a 38DD.  It's usually hard to find bras in my size that are cute or even come in an interesting color, but I found some great Olga bras that are super cute!  Polka dots and animal prints.  I haven't bought any nursing bras yet because I assume I will need a bigger size when the time comes.

Hotmilk makes incredible nursing bras that also work well for pregnancy. They have 6 rows of clips so expand with you. They are all wireless and cotton lined, but are also super sexy. After 2 years of ugly nursing bras, they bring a smile to my face knowing what I am wearing under my stained mommy shirts.

Breakout bras is an online store with amazing customer service that sells hotmilk and a huge range of other nursing bras even in very hard to fit sizes! (32ff here, eek!)

Checking out these suggestions now, thank you ladies!!

Just found out today that I've gained at least 30lbs in the past 23 weeks (23wks today!).  Had a small emotional breakdown for a minute, but the popcorn I just made is helping me to copewinky.gif

Someone remind me that the pregnancy weight gain charts out there are bullshit!  According to them I should only gain 25-35 my whole pregnancy.  Surely going to surpass that mark!

Everyone is different throughout pregnancy! I was also extremely sad when I didn't like what I saw on the scale, but I've learned to just trust that my body is doing what it needs to. I do what I can and do little exercises while I watch tv or get my son outside and take a little walk if its nice out. I also try my best to make healthy choices when I'm hungry, and I definitely don't starve myself. If I'm hungry, I eat!! And I do give in to the cravings once in a while, don't get me wrong!! Lol. Hope you start to feel better about it Raerae. smile.gif

I'm also loving my belly and loving that my boobs are fuller! I'm 27 weeks and loving the changes! I will definitely be looking into those nursing bras, because my nursing bras that I have are well worn out! And not so pretty anymore. Not to mention they are worn everyday for a long time! I think they are a good investment!

RaeRae, that's almost the same as my weight gain. I'm up 28 at 21 weeks. I'm quite disappointed at it too, but what can ya do?

I would check out bravado nursing bras. The original and some of the other styles stretch somewhat to grow with you to different cup sizes. I wouldn't expect your breasts to shrink JNajla. I always go from an A cup to a D-DD when nursing at first. Doesn't go below a C-D until I am done nursing. I do shrink back down to a version of my original size after I'm done nursing. Avoid underwire. They sell some of those I think, but you being a bra hater, I doubt you'd want that anyway.

RaeRae, there is a Weight gain thread on here if you need to vent/ want support about weight issues. I'm up 29 lbs at 24 weeks (feeling guilty) about it, dreading the work ahead that lies ahead to lose it back.
