I FINALLY got to walk around our acreage tonight!!! Been soooo anxious for it to dry out enough, and today was gorgeous! Don't know how far it is, but it's 34 acres of slightly hilly, rough terrain, so it takes me 25-30 min walking at a pretty brisk speed (which is a bit more difficult on that ground LOL).

Anyway whatever happens I think there is probably no way that working out hasn't benefited you and the baby, even if you can't "see" how, but I can understand how it's hard to focus on that when regardless of the effort you put in your body is still changing in the ways it did without working out.   The body changes of late pregnancy in particularly can make us feel so vulnerable!  Sometimes I look at all the work I do (excellent diet, working out regularly) and, even though I am quite happy about where I'm at this time w/r/t weight gain and how I look (although I will never cease to be insecure about the way my face changes, every time!), I compare myself to some of my friends who have these gorgeous pregnancies and gain barely weight but never work out and eat ice cream literally every night and then I get annoyed that bodies are so idiosyncratic.  wink1.gif

Thank you. :)  I'm just feeling whiny, I've hit that point where I don't really want to go out in public, very few of my clothes fit (and NOTHING flatters!!!), and I just feel large.  Like I've said, it's TOTALLY worth it and I wouldn't change this for the world, but the end of pregnancy is just a unique time, I guess.

250/720 swimming and walking. Midpoint of the month today! Hang in there, mamas!

I don't know about you but I somehow blocked from my mind what late pregnancy is like so I have this awesome exercise goal but the spirit wants to stay home and sunbathe!

Thank goodness for this thread.

This is how I am feeling too, although I did break down and go get some more maternity stuff that firs and is somewhat cute. DH was working at a farm show yesterday and it is like 99% men in the building and just walking around with DD I could feel every single guy stop what they are doing and look at me like whoa, she is really pregnant. It was kind of annoying. Being 6 feet tall and 34 weeks pregnant I would probably stare at myself too but seriously lets not stare guys.

I have very much lost track too.  I think I've worked out 3xs since my last update but it could have been only 2.  All I know is I'm term so I'm counting all movement as a win.  LOL!

I was doing handstands and somersaults in the pool with my 12 yo DD. Totally awesome day! Adding 85 mins from today and yesterday of walking and water play. Now if I could just do the math. :-P

I am so frustrated. Tried to go to gym twice today. Firsttime, I took a long nap instead. Second time, I had dinner then learned gym is closing now.

I have been ill this week (nearly fainted twice) and am just getting back into the swing of things.

Sad.

Swam with DD for 2 hours + 2x2hour sessions at the gym = 540/600 for March!

I think I'm at 440/585, so if I keep up this pace I should end right on or a little over my target.

I think I am going to have to make today my last workout at the gym  :-(  I felt a huge downswing in my ability to do anything worthwhile. I think I just ended up making myself sore instead of getting any actual workout in. Oh well, hopefully I can keep up some walking and maybe some light kettlebell stuff at home.

Although I cracked myself up and i totally wish I had had my phone with me today because I had grabbed an 8 pound medicine ball and all of a sudden caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I just thought, "Hey, I have one of these built in!" It just looked so funny!

Bailey, I had a day like that on Wednesday.  I was like, "I think I'm too pregnant to keep up with these workouts" -- just felt gross and contracty kind of lightheaded after.  But then I worked out again on Friday and felt great after, so I think it was just a blip.  Hopefully it will be the same for you!

And, I am done with exercise, I think. My BP has gotten too high to avoid bed rest. :-(

Definitely slacking on working out. I am at that point where I just want to go into labor everyday and don't feel like doing anything but sittin around and waiting for it to happen. wink1.gif This is the 2nd time I have "mysteriously" lost weight in the last week or so though (despite lack of workouts and pretty crappy eating overall) so at least I don't hate myself. LOL
