What to expect at my second appointment « Back to Group Discussions

Hello there ladies...My second appointment is coming up on March 4...woohoo. I don't know what to expect when i go. I'll be 13w4d on that day. Please help this is my first pregnancy and i'm overly excited.

Here's what happened between Feb 4 (first appointment) until now. I have not gained any weight-yet i feel heavier. My breast is not sore anymore but my nipples hurt. I pee less. I been having headaches within the last week. I am not showing yet my clothes feel tighter. I'm gassy and have some gas pains. I think i have some round ligament pains here and there. Mostly the dull aches that last longer. My nausea has eased up a lot-but once i get hungry it comes back. Somedays i feel just fine not pregnant at all. Is that normal for 13w into pregnancy?

Hi! Sorry for the late response.

All of your symptoms... Totally normal.

I could have sworn that I was making this whole pregnancy thing up until my 2nd appt. at 13w2d when we got to hear the heartbeat. =) That is what you should have experienced, as well. They're normally able to pick the heartbeat up on the doppler by then, so you'll get to hear it at every appointment from now on!

That's exactly what happened. I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time. I fell in love. Like really fell in love. LOL.

Now i'm just waiting for my baby bump @14w3d i am still not showing. But i'm a fluffy girl so it might be a while. LOL
