Name is Kamiro, Giving myself an EDD Nov 1st, I am 5 weeks along. I am hoping for healthy number one, but as for sex of the baby - I think it would be kind of neat to have a son. I don't have one yet lol

I do have tons of cute Hanna Andersson girl outfits to pass down if it is another girl though...hmm. lol

As for symptoms I just feel really tired. Seems like there is so much to do and at this point 9 months seems like a looooong way away. I know it isn't though!

My feelings go from extreme excitement to maybe some apprehension. Then there is the crazy pregnant lady equation. Taking my super B-complex so I can keep my emotional ups and downs to a minimum and just stay level. Ahh the joy of preginsanity!

lol

Hi, I'm L. I'm due around 4 or 5 Nov. DH and I are totally ambivalent about the sex of the baby. We're not planning to find out, so it will be an exciting surprise! Right now my main symptoms have been sore boobs and backache. However DH claims that my tastes have altered due to the pg hormones, and I supposedly made "spicy death pasta," which he refuses to eat (he normally loves my homemade pasta sauce). shrug.gif

I'm really really excited about this pregnancy but can't believe how slowly it is going! I already want to start shopping for maternity clothes and baby things. Have already tried on my Beco a bunch of times, too. Otherwise I've been keeping busy eating super healthy and exercising every day.

Hi, im D, I dont have an edd yet as I think I ov'd very late for me, at about cd 26 ish! I am hoping for a healthy pregnancy and to be able to carry as close to term as possible after 2 preemies. I'd be equally thrilled with a boy or a girl. I feel fine, just trying to keep the nerves at bay, and praying every day that all will be well.

Hi, I'm M. Our EDD is Nov 11/13, and I am 3 weeks or so along. We have a little girl (9 1/2 months) who is the happiest most wonderful little darling, and we would be over the moon with either a boy or girl. I have been having very vivid dreams lately, seriously tired (which was. BiG clue for me because I am breastfeeding DD around the clock & never feel this run down), sore nipples, seriously nauseous while breastfeeding and crying at most things(also a BIG clue prior to the bfp

Oops posted before I finished, bear with me!! I am off on maternity leave until May, work until the end of June. I'm a school teacher, so have the summer off. I'm working on my masters, so will be very busy in July with coursework. I really am worried about my employer, as I will likely be off work again in early November. I had my DD almost 2 weeks early after having pUppps rash for almost 4 weeks.. Hope to escape it this time around, trying to think positive about it smile.gif other than that , I am happy about everything, hope it is a healthy pregnancy !!!

LOL Hi Maggie May. I remember you :)

Hi again everyone! My name is Andrea and I just got my BFP yesterday at 10 DPO making me 3 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. My wife and I have four kids already- two boys and two girls, ages 6, 5, 4, and 3. This will definitely be our last one ;)

We are both shocked that I'm pregnant as this was our first cycle TTC! Being gay means you need to plan your conception a little more- for us it involved a trip to a city three hours away to meet our donor as well as the nerve-wracking experience of picking the "best" days to insem! We actually thought we totally blew it this month because we insemed four and three days before I ovulated but wow- I'm pregnant!!

My EDD is November 13. My last birth was 4.5 years ago so I feel totally out of the loop. I am hoping for a boy, DW is hoping for a girl... So either way one of us will get our wish. So far I am SUPER nauseous, a first for me as I've never experienced morning sickness before. It sucks! My face is breaking out and I am crampy, all the fun parts of early pregnancy... Can't believe I am pregnant!!

Hi everyone! I'm Kate. My EDD is 11/9, although my DS was 12 days late and DD was 3 days late so I'm actually thinking maybe an 11/11 baby would be fun! I'm 4 weeks today. AF was due today and (phew!) no sign of her! Still obsessively POAS to watch that line darken. Of course then I am obsessively comparing the sticks and wondering if they are in fact darker and stressing myself out. It's really fun. shy.gif I find this time really hard to enjoy. I want to be excited, and I really am, but I'm so nervous too.

That said, when I do let go and get excited I just can't wait! It does seem like November is a long way away but I'm sure it will fly. I would love either gender, especially since we already have a boy and a girl already, but I have a feeling this might be a girl. I also had a lunar conception chart done a while ago and it says this is a girl. The lady who did it for me has a 92% success rate! I always wanted a sister so I would love to give that to my DD. DS would be such a wonderful big brother to 2 little sisters. Plus I wouldn't have to change over the wardrobe! But if the baby is a boy, that would be totally fun, too. I was nervous when DS was born that I wouldn't know how to be mom to a boy and I have loved it so much. For whoever said she's not finding out the gender, it's so much fun! We did it with DS and that moment when he was born and DH told me he was a boy was incredible. These days our lives are so crazy that I can't really handle any more surprises but it was fun once!

As for symptoms, not too many yet. Peeing a lot, thirsty, and definitely more hungry. Occasional waves of nausea but that's it so far. I'm sure it will come, though!

Hi Katie!! So excited to see you here biggrinbounce.gif

I'm K. EDD 11/7 (but 11/10 by LMP and I'm happy to stick with that, would rather have that buffer and 11/10 is my Mom's birthday). I'm a little over 4 weeks along. I got my first BFP at 8DPO, so I've been obsessing and ecstatic for a little over a week! I have also been continuing to POAS to see that line darken, though I have gone a few days now without blush.gif The lines progressed very nicely and the last time I tried, with afternoon urine not held very long, the test line appeared immediately and was much darker than the control. I am trying to really let myself enjoy every moment of this pregnancy and not be scared. Like most anything in life worth doing, this is certainly a leap of faith. And I have a lot of confidence in my body to do this. I had not wanted to find out the sex but that was my DDs one and only request, she really wants to know. I am inclined to indulge her. DD is 9, she'll be 10 when this little bean is born, and is beyond excited to become a big sister. I've had only boy dreams so far, I only had girl dreams with DD. But honestly, I have no preference. We just want a happy, healthy baby!! So far I've had very sore boobs, peeing constantly, nausea off and on in waves and I am exhausted. I've fallen asleep by 7:30 all week. I don't remember being this tired with DD but that was 10 years ago and I also could come home from work and just relax or nap when I wanted. I am thrilled to be having a November baby. I'm a teacher and am excited to be off on Maternity Leave during the Fall and Winter holidays.

wave.gif So glad to meet you all!!

Hello!  It feels so weird to be here.  I just saw that it says "senior member" over there...holy cow.  This board format has really been updated since the last time I visited MDC!

Anyway, I'm 38, expecting #3, have 7 year old daughter & 10 year old son, really, really hoping for a girl this time.  I have two brothers and always wanted a sister so desperately, and I really want my daughter to have a sister even though they'll be almost 8 years apart.  Based on ovulation I'm due on Nov 7th I think.  We weren't actively TTC but we had decided to not do a whole lot to prevent it either, and so here I am.  Sparklemaman we have that age gap in common--I'm glad I'm not the only one with such a big age difference.  I hope they are close even though there will be so much of a gap.  We also have the exact same EDD--by LMP I'm the 10th too.

I had my son at a hospital and he has a severe congenital heart defect and had 3 surgeries (and will need more).  I had my daughter at home after we had a fetal echocardiogram that ruled out serious heart issues.  I'm super terrified right now of heart defects and will be lighting a lot of candles between 7-9 weeks or so when the major structures of the heart form.  My son also has high functioning autism.  I'm planning to have several u/s and fetal echo again this time and debating other testing, like amnio, due to my age.  I have never done that before but I wasn't this old!  If all of those are clear I'm hoping to have another homebirth if I can find a midwife I like.  We live 3,000 miles away from my old midwife and I don't think she's willing to fly out ;)  I guess I have to get on that though don't I??

I feel OK, though it feels like my uterus might fall out already.  Not a great sign at 4 1/2 weeks!!  What's it going to be like in 30?  A little hungrier, and craving savory rather than sweet, not really tired, sore boobs, that's about it.  I am really hoping it will be easier this time.  I didn't have a difficult pregnancy with my son, but it was horrendous with my daughter, mostly because my son was just being dx with autism and was really, really challenging at that time and I was totally worn out.

What prenatals do you all take?  I had severe nausea and vomiting last time (not diagnosed HG, but gall bladder problems), and I don't have my gall bladder anymore but I have a hard time with vitamins in general.  They always make me feel sick.  I bought a small bottle of the rainbow light ones to try and they make me feel nauseous even if I take them with food.  What others should I try?

Oh SM, I just want to give you a big hug. I hope for no heart problems for this one. hug2.gifI have a daughter with HFA. Loads of fun and frustration, but mostly just feel blessed!

I haven't even decided this time around on midwife vs hospital again.

This is #5 and all of them have been at home, but I guess not enough time has passed that I am thinking of getting some pain relief. lol

Nah, I'll probably call up our local midwife next week and see if she wants to come out at the beginning of April.

I'll just start listening to the pregnancy hypnobabies track and hopefully have a lovely pregnancy like I did last time. I didnt exactly have the model hypno baby birth, but I do have to admit I think the track for a positive pregnancy made the HUGEST difference.

For prenatels, I am taking Rainbow light one a day Womans. I cant do standard prenatals because they are just too high in iron and make me feel sick.

The only other one that I could suggest that is a whole food vitamin is this one called PURE ESSENSE LABS "One n only". It might be a good one you can tolerate.

As for other supplements I take:
Multi v

3 flax seed

2 cranberry fruit

1 Super b complex

alfalfa

nettles

and I will be taking horse chestnut for my veins this time.

Hi I am guessing my edd is nov 9 but maybe sooner because my cycles very. I already have a 6 year old boy so really hope that this one will be a girl! The only symptoms I have is that I'm dying of thirst, tired, and crazy vivid dreams.

Hi I'm Rebekah. My EDD is Nov. 10, I'm 4 weeks along. We have a 7.5 yo son, a 5.5 yo daughter and a 2.5 yo son. We are hoping for a girl, our daughter has been asking for a sister since she was TWO. We'd like to give her one. shy.gif I actually really feel like it will be a girl, and my feelings have been right for the others so we'll see...   So far no symptoms, other than a little gagging when i brushed my teeth yesterday. All my pregnancies have been uneventful, and i'm hoping for this one to be the same. My first two babies were born at home, my last one was born in a hospital (for financial, not health, reasons), but I really hope to have this babe at home. Whereas my husband has already said, it was fine last time and it'll save us several thousand dollars... and yes it was 'fine' but it was stressful for me, i was so much happier at home.

my other major concern right now is school. we homeschool and i wonder how its going to go with having a baby right in the middle of the school year!

How's everyone doing? Fine over here. Tired and I am having such trouble sleeping! Somehow I find it so much more difficult to turn off my brain when I'm pregnant. Just can't stop thinking about stuff! :P working nights this week as well so sleeping isn't easy to begin with.

Today I used up my last tests. I was so happy to see pretty lines! Anyone else have lines to share??

Pretty pretty tests Kate. I admit to taking my last Answer test and  wouldnt you know it - it was dysfunctional. eyesroll.gif I took the last dollar tree test and it popped up super quick though. A little concerned here though...I noticed I was having very strong contraction feelings last night after nursing the babe. I had also had a stomach bug...so I'm thinking I need to be a little easy on myself here.

Vaq - We home school also! I don't know if you are a strict curriculum type, but we aren't and...I just planned ahead with binders for the kids and books they needed to read etc. but I wasn't really strict about it. They are pretty motivated anyways cause they are little and eager. Maybe if they were middle school age or better it wouldn't be so stress free..

Hi all! My name is Jocie and I'm thinking my EDD is around Nov 16! I have yet to go to the doctor since I'm probably only about 3 weeks along but I got a positive on a digital this morning so I am thinking that is a great sign! I'm secretly hoping for a girl but obviously we'll be happy either way :) not too many symptoms, sore boobs, mild cramping, peeing a lot and unusually thirsty! Nothing toooo severe though. Some nausea and super sensitive sniffer too. I can't wait to get to know you all :)

Also Katie, your lines are so pretty!!

Katie Absolutely beautiful!! I've stopped testing so I have no pretty lines to share. I never did use my digi though, hmmmm. . . . whistling.gif I am feeling similar exhaustion coupled with difficulties sleeping. I seem to fall asleep at the drop of a dime but can't stay asleep. I wake up thinking about things I need to do or from a particularly vivid dream and have trouble falling back asleep. And the working nights does stink and add to it. When do you go back to days? Have you hear any news about last week's test? I'll bet you did great, even distracted!

Jjh Yeah!! Congrats again, Mama!! So excited to see you here joy.gifKatie, Jjh and I have been hanging out together in the TWW thread the past couple of months. It's exciting to be graduates together.

Onemoreontheway I'd be inclined to think it was either the nursing or a bug causing cramping, nothing to be concerned about. My DD had a nasty stomach bug this past weekend which I somehow, miraculously, escaped! Hope you're feeling better.

Hope you're all having a great day, Mamas!! flowersforyou.gif

I had bought a 2 pack of tests, but the first one came back positive so I haven't used the other... Not sure if I should just use it so its not sitting in my cupboard or what. This is our last baby and even if it wasn't I'm sure the test would be expired by the time I needed it...

onemoreontheway- we do a Charlotte mason type school. Right now almost everything we do is together, we're not really workbook people. But I'm thinking for next school year, my oldest is going to have to start reading some of his own books.

I wouldn't worry about the cramping. I was nursing when I got pregnant last time and that definitely happened to me. I'm sure it's ok! We are going to start homeschooling this summer. I'm really excited. DS is at a Montessori preschool at the moment so I've learned a lot from them and I plan to use a lot of those ideas.

Exactly! I just can't stop my brain! I do remember this from being pregnant in the past but it's so tough. I just want to sleep! Tonight is my last night shift for 7 weeks! Whoo hoo. I am glad. I usually love nights but this not sleeping well thing is killing me. After this weekend I am on a research block for 4 weeks so I'll basically make my own schedule. The timing works out so well! I'm really glad. I won't hear the results of the test for a couple of months. whistling.gif Oh well. I'm sure it was ok. You should think about peeing on that digi! I had never done one before and so I got one since this will likely be the last time I do this. It was fun to see!  How are you feeling?

I have such a problem peeing on things when they are around! Haha! Today is the first day I haven't tested and I felt a little shaky. LOL. I get so worried something bad is going to happen that it makes me feel a lot better to see those lines! So I respect you with your test on the shelf! winky.gif I don't know about Charlotte Mason. I'll have to read up about that. I'm excited to try lots of different things on our homeschooling journey.

Ok, off to try to nap! Hope everyone is having a great day! love.gif

Katie- I have been testing twice a day since my BFP a couple days ago smile.gif ill probably continue until my first appointment on April 1 smile.gif
