Totally agree about early positives on Wondofos. They take a few min to come up. Mine didn't start popping up quickly until maybe 13 or 14 DPO.

Chuord -- I'm at 5 DPO, too. Synchronize watches! I use OPKs instead of charting. Is there an advantage to charting aside from expense? I use $ store tests, so the price isn't too bad.

Larski -- Because I'm not zen at all, I will throw in my two cents and suggest you test every morning with $ store tests until the line darkens or AF arrives. Fighting the urge to test never works for me... I just try to limit it to once (or twice) a day. Good luck! Hoping for your + soon!

AFM, I'm enjoying reading about everyone else while I wait to test. If I make it to Monday (11 DPO), I'll consider myself a rock star.

chourd weren't you asking about flying and if it might affect implantation? Hmm, I have no idea but if it makes you nervous (I remember you saying you knew you had conceived on vacation with your DH was it? And knew on the flight home that you felt the baby leave?) maybe skip the plane ride? I know visiting your family is so important though. That's a tough call. Are you leaning more one way or another at this point?

Welcome and good luck! I felt different when I was pregnant with my son at about 3 weeks. It's certainly possible. Hang in there and here's hoping for a BFP!

Now that I'm ttc #2 you'd think I'd be more sure about pregnancy symptoms, but this time has been even more confusing than the first!

Jjh I'd buy the FRER. They are way more sensitive than the digis. You need an Hcg of 50-100 mIU/ml to get a + on a digi and only a 25 mIU/ml on a FRER. I've had great luck with them, it confirmed my Wondfo BFP at 8 DPO. It was light but definitively there and pink within the time limit. That said, my Wondfos were much darker immediately (those first few days, 8-10 DPO). Can you call for blood work in the morning? That will put any doubts to rest!

Ya I bought the digis but I will take one tomorrow then if it is negative wait until my period has been missed. I'm with mamacats, I might just save my pennies on the FRERs and stick with the wondfos. Get a blood test when AF is late! I need to call my insurance company and ask them questions about the blood work anyway!

Afm- 6.50am In bed reading forums, I'm 5dpo and my temp is still rising I'll try and insert my chart as a pic as I can't work out how to link it from my phone... I'm not sure about the dip right after O I'm a newbie to charting and would love any opinions... Also does anyone think that flying would be a bad idea at this stage? I've read the Internet blurbs but just wondered if it could affect implantation etc

I'm trying to keep calm but it is sooo difficult! Ill keep wondfo testing

AFM, well, it’s too soon to tell, I think, but I sure am driving myself crazy.  I couldn’t stop thinking about the very faint second line/possible evap line this morning.  First thing I did when I got home was test again.  I use the cheapie Wondfos, so this helps me indulge my obsession.  Well, I think I again am seeing a very faint line.  It’s even fainter this time, though.  So faint that I wonder if I’m imagining it.  So, I think I really think that time is the only thing that will help right now.

JJH - I got that nasty evap on FRER and I am totally mad at them but I do think that generally they work really well. I did buy more for my obsessive testing this last week. I got a pos on a digi at 11 or 12 DPO this time, can't remember which it was. GL!! Can't wait to see more tests! What will your due date be? I got my BFP just when I resolved that I could think about moving on if we didn't get pg as well!

Ughhh! I can't get pictures to upload.. But I suppose it is official! I had a positive Digi today! I might call my doctor and see if I can get in for bloodwork... I haven't told my parents and since I am still on my dads insurance I may ask how much it will cost without insurance lol any ideas? I just know since we're far from home my parents are going to be happy but still disappointed so I don't want to tell them until everything is definitely a go!

AFM still waiting for a positive opk. I'm on CD 13 and feel like it will never happen. I've never used OPKs before. Yay for something new to obsess over.

Writeon, OPK waiting is soooo difficult. Then you have to decide if they're really psotive/etc. Obviously they really worked for me though! Good luck :)

jjh, legally your parents can't find out what (if any) testing you had done just because you're under your dad's insurance.    The day you turn 18 they lose that access even though they're paying for it.  I work for a health insurance company, and we're tighter than an accountant's rear end with info.  Hope this puts your mind at ease a little.

Well my dad has this "expense" account so all of the costs, besides copays, are deducted from that. So I don't know like if my appointments will be taken out of that or if my copay will just be the cost of my appointments. I am obviously going to tell them I just want to make sure everything is going ok before! But since I have had several positive hpts the doctor actually said that it would be unnecessary for me to do blood testing unless I really wanted to. They're going to schedule an appointment in a couple of weeks anyway so I can wait it out.

I posted this on another thread, but can use some info.

I have the mirena IUD. It was placed 5 months ago at my 6 week check. I have had cramping and spotting, so today I took a wondfo test, it has the slightest faint positive line. Will be seeing my doc tomorrow.

I ended up getting labs done yesterday. My beta levels were 6 "positive" Looks like I caught it at a very early stage of my pregnancy. I am really surprised that my wondfo tests showed positive at such a low level. I have always tested at 8-10 dpo and been able to see a faint line, but a level of 6 is very impressive. I highly recommend these tests to everyone. 

I go in Friday to have the IUD removed and the HCG levels checked again. Tubals are common with IUD's so I'm pretty nervous. Has anyone else had anything like this happen, and how did it turn out?

I buy my tests from tenderneeds in case anyone was curious. I know wondfo tests vary in sensitivity, and I saw that the ones I buy are 10miu.
