Anyone have a great longies or wool wrap patter/directions to share??

I don't knit but a family friend has offered to make me some lovely wool longies and/or wraps for my new LO. I looked online and there are SO MANY different patterns I just wondered if anyone has a tried and true method or website they love so I could pass it on.

Hi - 

I really love the Curly Purly pattern for wool covers. They have a great waistband that stays on great. They seem to fit longer than other patterns because of the unique strechy waistband. I have converted that basic pattern into longies easily. I'll come back to add a link with suggestions on how to do this if I can find it.
