Playgroups in RI/MA???? Desperate

Hi guys, I'm Ashley - 24 yr old mom of two kids, a 4 yr old and nearly 4 month old, both born at home. I'm here in seek of a playgroup or group of moms who get together occassionally in RI or MA. I have literally NO friends nearby and I'd love to get my kids involved with other children. My 4 yr old has spent most of her life around adults only. I've been cautious to enter other playgroups because it's hard to find likeminded mothers - most look at me like I have 3 heads when I tell them I've had homebirths :P. And having to excuse myself often to nurse my baby is awkward considering some women find it "rude" or offensive... I'm considering homeschooling also. I'd love to surround myself with mothers I can easily relate to :) Reply here or I can link to facebook! :)

Check in with meet up.com they have some AP parent groups that might fill the void.  Good luck!

Hey!!! You're not alone! Check out Natural Families RI on meetup.com. There are so many wonderful and "crunchy" families on there. Many events happenin RI but there's quite a few mamas from CT too. :-)

HOw far in MA can you travel too.  I'm on the South Shore, but I do have some moms on my list from the RI area.  I know they have some of the same concerns.  
Let me put a shout out to a mom on Facebook and see if there are any newer RI group gathering.
