4 year old with severe face/mouth pain

My 4 y.o. grandson has severe pain that he describes as being in the right side of his face/mouth/head...  We have been to the Ped & Dentist with no results or info.  He had a fever for almost a week 102 ish and the pain started about 2 days after the fever ended.  He is very verbal and not a baby at all (if he gets hurt a kiss will do the trick and he goes on) but this pain is so severe that I can do nothing physical to help him.  tylenol and motrin work for about 4 hours and then he is screeming in pain again (we havent slept a full night in 3 days)

Doctor thought it might be sinus since ears/nose/throat all checked out fine, but he is not indicating the face area for sinus, he is saying its his cheek and head.  Dentist says there is nothing wrong with the teeth or gums either.......  I am at wits end with this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a virus. Viral stomatitis maybe? I would take him back to the doctor if they cant find a reason. Kids dont cry like that for no reason. They need to find the reason.
