Poppy seed to pumpkin: How big is your baby?

This is a pretty neat link! It shows how big your baby is, week-to-week, by comparing it to common food items. (Yeah, I know, I know... Baby Center. But it's still pretty cool.) Just thought I'd share!

Thanks for the link Bromache:)

Cute! Mine says a  medium shrimp at 13 weeks which is confusing because I'm picturing that being smaller than lime which is the week before. Then it jumps to lemon at 14 weeks. Maybe the shrimp I'm used to picturing are just small.

I hear you! I think they really mean the LENGTH of all these foods, not the thickness of them. But that's confusing. (You'll see later on a  banana at around 20 weeks. That drops in width, too. It looks weird.)

Medium shrimp here, too! (I read on another site that baby's the size of a peach at 13 weeks. That sounds nicer, don't you think?)

Third medium shrimp in a row! I do prefer the sound of peach, Bromache!

Ooh mine was an apple this week and should be an avacado tomorrow! I hadn't looked since 11.

Me, too, nettlesoup! This is making me super hungry.

Apple here! Just checked in to see. The comparisons are fun smile.gif

Mine is now as long as a carrot. Seems a bit vague since you can get carrots in a million different sizes!

We have moved on to Mango, in our cruise through the produce aisle. smile.gif
It sounds about right -- approximately 6" and 8 oz.
