fluttering/vibration sensation? - Page 3

I have to laugh, I posted yesterday about my disappointment in not feeling much movement then last night and this morning I've been getting loads! Funny. Glad to finally be feeling them, it's so reassuring.

I don't feel movement at all often unless i really concentrate, but yesterday I felt a definite kick while I was sitting at my computer!

I'm so jealous!  At just 13 weeks, I'm not feeling any yet!  ARgh!

i started feeling something this week and i haven't been sure if it's the baby since it's so low - feels like it's just behind my pubic bone though i suppose it could be just above.  and i'm 17 weeks.  anyone know if it's possible that baby is that far down?  it feels like a semi-sharp twinge that will shift around a little bit and be intermittent for a few minutes and then is gone; it's not exactly painful but not neutral feeling either, seems to happen most when i'm lying down.  what do you think?  baby or something else?

Maybe. Or the relaxin hormone doing its thing and the pubic bone is shifting. Happens to me.

I haven't felt much movement since last weekend. It worries me. :-(

Don't worry swissmiss! It's called a "quickening" when you feel the first bit of movement and you might not feel it again for awhile! It's pretty normal I think. This happened with DD. She was perfectly healthy but not a big mover. In the last few weeks I freaked out one morning and rushed to the doc. because I don't remember feeling movement in the last day. Lol I was just paranoid. Now I'm grateful she's a calm, mellow sleeper. wink1.gif

I'm thinking this lil bean might be the same but I've already felt a few jabs. Maybe only noticing because I know what it feels like and mixed it up with gas/weird uterine stretching last time!

First time I REALLY felt my DD is when I was super relaxed. She must of liked the backrub DH was giving me. *sigh* those sure are a thing of the past!

My dd was relatively mellow in the womb compared to this baby. I feel this baby so much already. Real pokes and jabs that I can feel from the outside. And I can see them too. So if I don't feel the baby for an extended period of time I already freak out. And I'm only 17 weeks. Haha.

Wow mamamash! That's awesome. I have a bit of extra weight and worry because I'm bigger that I won't feel as much on the outside. Ugh! I was so much thinner with DD and my DH barely felt kicks then! We shall see.

Well this blog post sure cleared up that question above for me:

I'm starting to feel the baby kick more often which is really nice. I'm 18 weeks today though.

I felt something!  At 13.5 weeks so it was pretty subtle, but I'm sure.  I know my gastro-intestinal action feelings and this was not it, neither in placement or style.  Kind of low, on the right (?) side.  I would have expected the left.  But that's also where the ultrasound device was focused (right side) so that makes sense I guess.

That's where I feel mine kicking as well, so the chances are it was!

I'm nearly 17 weeks and am feeling movements each day now, a nice reward! I felt the first kick around 13 weeks, then maybe another a week or so later. At the end of week 15 I felt another and since then I feel something daily. About a week ago I started feeling kicks lasting for a half hour. It's lovely, definitely the best part of pregnancy.

I'm gonna go crazy you guys. I think feeling the baby this early is bad for my health. Because I forget that she's still tiny and I shouldn't be counting kicks or expecting a certain level of movement each day... But I do. So when she doesn't move a ton I panic. Sigh. I need a chill pill, especially since I did just feel a couple good kicks after waiting pretty much all day long.

MamaMash, at this stage I only expect to at least feel something once a day, but I totally understand your fear!

I think maybe I can feel the baby. Sometimes I feel like somebody is poking me (exactly where the doctor told me my uterus is). It lasts about as long as a gas bubble, but it is definitely not gas. I've been feeling this every couple of days for the last week, always when I'm in bed or lounging on the couch. This is my first, so I'm not sure. I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow.

I'm 17 weeks and still haven't felt the baby move greensad.gif this is my first so maybe I have to wait longer.
Serena I didn't feel my first until 18 weeks. Totally normal
