So things have changed dramatically in the last 24 hrs... Tis morning her activity has been big strong movements so much so while sitting in church (I decided to go since I haven't ever been, my DH found this church 4 months ago and has been attending by himself so I wanted to check it ur before the baby came, and I loved it btw orngbiggrin.gif anyway, I was sitting in church and her movements were so huge it was distracting myself and my DH... Ad when I stood up to leave she seriously felt like she had gained like 10lbs just in the last hour!!!! And ever bit of it is on my cervix!!!! My DH noted I was "waddling" ALOT more as we were leaving, just standing she feels SO heavy! We were going to go to target but I couldn't... So we just came home... Also my have to pee constantly and can no longer seem to empty my bladder fully...

Anyway, does this sounds like she's "dropped"???

That's what it felt like almost to a T when my son dropped(I never dropped with DD) once he dropped, the pressure really didn't ever leave my cervix.

I was walking through the house this morning and had to stop dead in my tracks due to it feeling like there was a little head splitting my pelvic bone open. Two steps in a row it did that, then it went away. Then it did it again for a few steps later on at the store with my mom and a few more times at home. I sure hope it's her head down there but that is so darn painful it takes everything I have to not cry out when it happens.

Her movements have been pretty wild lately as well but today she's been pretty mellow. Though it could be I've noticed it less due to being so active myself today.

Oh BeanBean!  How exciting!  Hope she stays put for a few more days, so that you can ditch your stich first!

DD never really dropped, since she had her hand up by her head.

Sure sounds like it!! Mine alway drop around 33/34 weeks (now) but I already carry pretty low so I don't notice a huge difference. Have you tried feeling for her head? (Dont have to mess with your cervix, you'll feel it just reaching straight in) I can always tell when they drop more because they go from like my middle knuckle or higher down to only about between my first and middle knuckle (about 1.25-1.5").

Oh with the cerclage still in, I'm not allowed to put anything up there lol to high of chance of messing with things and causing labor to begin or an infection! The drs have never even checked me... I guess when things are so irritable anything entering the vagina could stir things up and start labor. I have tried to palpate and feel for her head from my stomach but I've got some extra "cushion" lol and don't really know what I'm feeling for!

I feel so much pressure at times when I walk a lot down there (I can't stay in a store very long because of it.) And its painfu and irritating! Sometimes I feel like she has dropped, others I don't. It is easier on me when I am sitting to breathe most of the time though, can that mean she's droppped? I don't know what to base it on as my 6 year old DD never did drop. Unless I go into labor on my own, it doesn't matter, but I have been having BH's everyday for the last two weeks. A lot of people that I know seem to think I will, which is scary to me, as I have a scheduled csection on April 2nd.

With DS1 he dropped the day my water broke, and was born 16 hrs later.  I was at work wearing clothes I wore all the time, but suddenly I my pants felt soooo tight on my lower belly and I got really uncomfortable. I actually went to the store and bought some pj bottoms to wear at work.

I don't remember DS2 ever dropping though.  I know this baby hasn't dropped yet (but I'm only 32 weeks) as I can still feel his/her butt in my ribs sometimes and I still have that shortness of breath from it.  But after the 1st baby "they" say baby may not drop until in labor, so I"m not worried.

All the cervical pressure and heaviness I felt yesterday has eased up a bit... Maybe she just flipped? Who knows, I can't wait til Thursday to see what's happening n there smile.gif

I fee like maybe mine dropped yesterday (35w1d). I squat a lot while doing chores and playing with the kids, and all of a sudden it became hard to do so because it felt like I had a water balloon between my legs getting in the way.  I haven't been taking profile pics, but from gauging in the mirror, it looks like a sagging teardrop rather than a pretty even roundness that I had before.  It feels/looks like everything baby-related is below my ribcage, for sure.  Had a lot of cramps the past few days too.

edit: ok..... yep she has dropped. I just caught myself resting my cup of tea on my belly! didn't have a built-in table before! (reminds me I have a picture of me while in early labor with ds2, we were at a family bday party and everyone was resting their red party cups on my belly... I'll go look fo that!.)

I dropped today too.  I had been feeling pressure on my pubic bone intermittently for maybe a week but now it's constant.  Very uncomfortable - the bumpy train ride home was a serious bummer.  Feel like one of those kids who wears the crotch of their pants halfway down their legs - can't really put one foot in front of the other the waddle is so pronounced.

Everything I read tells me you can go a whole month this way or more.  :(
