Canada is next?

Found this article via twitter.  Now, it seems, Canada may revise their position on circ too.

There is a letter writing campaign on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/events/119150254915356/?fref=ts

Can you see that? Or is it a private/invitation-only group? (If it is the latter, please PM me with your facebook name.)

I joined some time ago and haven't had a chance to get to it yet, but today's media push was a good reminder. I did send an email to several cps addresses back in November, now that I am looking at my records, but I never got any acknowledgement that it was even received, so I'd like to send a hard copy once I figure  out who to send it to. I should also proof read it again. I am a good writer, but when it comes to writing about circumcision, I seem to lose coherency. It is partly because of the emotion involved when I talk about it, and partly because my arguments start to spread out in too many different directions. I really need to try to focus.

K I joined the group.

"A new study found that the circumcision rates are heavily influenced by whether or not the father is circumcised."

This drives me insane!!

I can tolerate people who circumcise their newborns for "medical reasons", at least they have good intentions but the "his dad is circumcised" people... you're cutting off a part of your son's penis!!
