1000 Minute Challenge for March 2013!!!!! Accountability thread - come in and post your work...

Here we go again!!!    This thread is for everyone who gets up to exercise.   Some folks count miles, we like to count minutes.  You can count miles too!  I do!

Anyway - set a goal for yourself and log it here.  I find that it makes me more accountable and willing to get up when I have to post here.   I know I wanted to take off more days last month than I did - but I mentally did a running tally of my workouts and then put my shoes on.

I'm in for 1500

What are you guys up to????

2/1  -  65 minute work out - running and weights

2/2  -  45 minute run

2/3  -  nada

2/4  -  75 minutes at the gym. ...50 minutes  weights and 20 minutes walking. Congestion kept me from running.

1500?  Lab, are you crazy?  I see grown children in your picture...  winky.gif

Yeah, I'm in for 1500.  Bring it.  <Cue "Rocky" music.>

I'm in the yoga challenge as well, so hopefully you'll see little bits of yoga on here every day too.

3/3 - 30 minutes restorative yoga

Yay Jaxy!!!!

MrsGregory.... YES!  My kids are OLD.....  No way did I work out when they were little.   I had too many kids, too close together.  And I just wasn't comfortable with the gym daycare situation.  I didn't work out until they were 1st, 3rd and 5th graders.  I have the utmost respect for moms who figure out how to work out and parent babies.   Hard hard hard!

I'll stick with the 1000 although i definitely won't be able to reach that (tomorrow being the 5th and havent been doing any kind of work-out for like...3  weeks :P)

I'm in again...I kinda err, dropped out last month towards the end. blush.gif DBF's sleep schedule is all screwy (he started working graveyard shifts) and it's screwing up my and DS's sleep schedule. So I was a walking zombie and DS was cranky for a few days. It's all fixed now or so I think... lol. We shall see. My goal this month is 1000 minutes (I am doing a lot of HIIT workouts and they are shorter in time.)

3/2 - 40 minutes of Turbofire (HIIT 30/Stretch 10)

3/4 - 70 minutes of P90X (Plyometrics/Stretch 10)

110 minutes

Still trying to get on the 30 Day Shred bandwagon. We're going to the Bahamas in August and I want to be more tone for that. I'm not seeing a lot of results from just running. My goal is to do it  twice a week, but I haven't done that yet. Training for this 1/2 marathon is taking pretty much all my time and energy.

3/1 30 min running

3/3 84 min running

3/5 37 min running

3/7 34 min running

3/9 52 min running

3/10 93 min running
