Summer babies- What do they need? - Page 2

I cannot wear the baby bjorn very comfortably for a long time as my babies were both 9lbers at birth but my husband LOVES LOVES LOVES the bjorn. It is his favourate carrier. If he is babywearing, its his go to and he will wear our babies for hours in it, even when the babies become young toddlers and are quite heavy.

I'd avoid bjorn. Not worth the money. My babytrekker works well from 8lbs-18 mths(though with the new leg straps they should work better for longer. - supposed to be up to 50 lbs.) I also like my ergo and boba from around 4mths and up. I got those 2 on sale for almost half off on babysteals and babyhalfoff.

If I could only have it would be the babytrekker though. I was going to decide which between the boba and ergo to keep or sell and I ended up not wanting to get rid of those. I originally bought them for my older kid to be worn when needed as well when we were on family outings where a stroller wouldn't work.

my experience is with a february baby too...and our summers are hot, hot, hot. so i was just thinking these same thoughts to myself. i was thinking i'll just start with basic t-shirts and a few cotton short sleeve onesies...and go from there. we have some cotton blankets for layering...and then i wanted to get some more leggings too--my little guy who is 2 still wears his, so they won't be wasted even if i don't need them at first. we did a lot of skin to skin in the winter, with a blanket over us...but i don't know how this is going to work out when our summers get to 100+ degrees.

hmm...i'll be learning as we go with our little one. :)
