Thank you for this! Somehow I had missed seeing the uncollege.org site and I am very interested in that with a nearly 17 yo kiddo.

Sadly I have seen and heard very little on this (his story  & book) - would be love for Dale to be on the Daily Show (or Cobert-both!!) and get some real exposure.

 

I personally wish gap year was in the US, so many don't even know about it irked.gif you mention it and they can't grasp others do it- so many IRL are so fixated on college - I hear college even mentioned to elementary level kids as the end all!
