Early potty trainers -- advice on training pants?

Thread Starter

Does anyone have advice on training pants for early potty trainers? My kids aren't ready for cold-turkey potty training, but they are (and I am) sick of diapers, and I'm sick of fighting over diapers. We do a lot of naked time at home, but for outings it's not okay to leave a puddle on the floor, and there's a limit to how many full changes of clothing I can bring. I've been reading reviews of best bottom trainers, and am interested in trainers we could use for car trips, library trips, maybe naps.

Any advice for me or experience?

Ideally this would be something that could hold a whole pee and have waterproofing, yet be like panties so we can avoid the fighting.

Or advice to just fight the fight and do diapers full time until they're older would be fine too.

I would check etsy.com or hyenacart.com WAHMmade ones are going to probably be your best bet! Many of them can customize for you and/or there are snap-in options. I know that Grow-via also offers training pants that can be customized.

In my opinion no matter which style you go with.....ALWAYS be sure that you can snap them open or velcro open on the size....nothing worse than having to pull a poopy allllll the way down the legs to get it off!
