Blood in urine - thoughts?

I am 12 weeks pregnant and my midwife did a urinalysis yesterday and it came back that there was a bit of blood in my urine. I can't see it - my urine doesn't seem off color, just a bit cloudy. The next part of the test came back today that it's not a urinary infection (which is surprising), but they are sending it for a culture and I will know more in the next few days.

My midwife said that this can just be a flukey thing and the blood goes away - and I know that blood is at all all time high during pregnancy anyway - but I don't know what to think. Has this happened to any of you?

If the culture doesn't distinguish what it is (or everything comes back negative), then my midwife suggested I go see my GP to run further tests in terms of kidney stones or kidney issues. 

I cannot tell you how much turmoil my life has been in the past month or so and this is the last thing I need (or anyone needs).

Any experiences, thoughts? TIA :)

No...not like that BUT

I actually had it turn out to be a kidney infection the one time I had physical blood in my urine...I had a lot of pain though. Sorry I am of no help, but at least this is a bump...and a *hug*

Hi there! I'm so sorry to be commenting on this with something so unrelated, but I'm new to the site and can't figure out how to private message. I came across a post of yours about your concern with your friend's baby from back in 2007, with his arms being limp and him being disconnected. Everything you described was almost spot on with my sister's son who is 5 months old. I was just curious as to whatever happened with your friend's son and if it turned out to be a cause for alarm?
