Seriously.  I do feel full of life and glowing when I'm pregnant, I do.  But then there's the other stuff.

Like I can't seem to quite finish peeing all the way until I start to stand as I'm wiping myself, resulting in aforementioned pee all over my hand.  And why does it surprise me every time at this point?  Ugh.

In other pee-related news, I seem to be coming down with a minor cold and it's making me sneeze.  A lot.  You can guess where that is going...

You must all have some other gross stuff to share, please make me and my pee-hands feel better about myself.  lol.gif

Haha, great thread.  ROTFLMAO.gif

I find that leaning forward as I'm peeing does help me get more of it out while I'm on the toilet.

My biggest issue is when the dog wakes me up in the morning so I can take her out to pee.  We don't have a fenced yard so I have to take her out on leash.  By the time I get back in the house and into the bathroom, I just barely make it to the toilet.  Sometimes I start peeing while I'm in the process of sitting down.   And unfortunately if I tell her to wait and I go first, then she just pees on the floor (she's about to turn 15 years old so that's probably not going to change at this point).

Sometimes it's a similar issue if DS wakes me up, but usually then in the worst case I can leave him on the potty (possibly protesting loudly) while I run to our other bathroom.

And why is it that when I'm pregnant, I lose the ability to judge how long I have until I have to go to the bathroom.  It just all of a sudden hits me, gotta pee now!  And sometimes I discover this when I'm starting a coughing fit. redface.gif

A couple of weeks ago I was getting over a cold. I went for a run and started having a coughing fit. I did not realize that coughing fit + running would result in complete bladder control failure. Thank goodness it was dark!bag.gif

For the peeing after you get up - I find that rocking front and back after I'm done helps me expel the extra.  Also sometimes lifting my belly helps.  But honestly I get the TP ahead of time and "grab myself" while standing up.  Also when I sneeze/cough, I crotch grab.  Not pretty, but it prevents wet pants. ;)

My annoying body quirk right now is "pregnancy nose".  I wake up nearly every day with a full head of snot.  It takes me all morning to clear it so I stop gagging.  And then all afternoon to clear the rest so I can hear (for some reason it migrates to my ear tubes after clearing my nose).  It's driving me INSANE.

I appear to be sprouting chest hair. In the shower this morning I noticed little black dots on my chest, as if somebody had drawn on me w a sharp pencil. But this evening upon close investigation they appear to be the start of very dark hairs. I am not amused.

YES, you guys are so right about the delayed pee sprinkle! I swear, I have to wipe the seat down so often because a little extra leaks out as I stand up. I'll have to try the rocking trick.

Another side effect of the second trimester- heightened libido! What bad timing, since I'm supposed to be on pelvic rest for the next 3-4 weeks (due to a low-lying placenta that's caused some bleeding this past week).

Yes!  However, it seems my husband is still worn out from the whole baby-making enterprise to care much... shake.gif

I am having the random bloody noses. Not gushers, but my nose will feel drippy, I blow it and I have a hanky full of blood. greensad.gif Also, no matter how many times a day I brush my teeth, I'm always spitting out bloody paste. There will be blood!

I, too, do the rocking trick for peeing. Somegirl, tooootally get where you're coming from. Our dog is elderly, too, so if I hear her coming for me, I try to dash to the bathroom to pee first. But if I get up too fast, I just get dizzy. Sigh. Can't win!

We had the stomach flu blow through our house last weekend and i finally had to wear a pad since every time I puked I peed myself a little. It was awful on top of awful!

Even after four kids, I generally have great bladder control. But vomiting with a full bladder will test even the strongest pelvic floor!! And let's just say rectal pressure while vomiting is really unpleasant, too! redface.gif Even if nothing happens!

My worst issues are throwing up at random - like in the grocery parking lot where I was, for once, grateful for bile in hopes it just looked like someone dropped an egg. redface.gif

Peeing is fine and finally my BM are returning to normal.

My sex drive is insane and because anatomy is changing and hormones are high, I am an immediate orgasm and even my skin is extremely 'sensitive'.  It's awesome.

Other than that, I'm stuffy all the time, but I just started using the neti pot and it seems to be helping.  I'm only doing twice a day, but I think I'll up my use.

Crafty-  I'm in the same boat with the bleeding while brushing.  My 3yo plays a mean harmonica... I was thinking of having him call me Bleeding Gums Mama and starting a blues band!

It's from the riboflavin (vitamin B2).

Riboflavin is best known visually as the vitamin which imparts the orange color to solid B-vitamin preparations, the yellow color to vitamin supplement solutions, and the unusual fluorescent-yellow color to the urine of persons who supplement with high-dose B-complex preparations (no other vitamin imparts any color to urine).

So...lately, my nipples have been tingly at odd times, almost like the tingle I used to get before let-down.  Is that weird?  I didn't associate it with that until I was hanging out with a friend and watching her nurse her baby.  Sure enough, tingly nipples.  Needless to say I kept it to myself right then.  lol.gif
