Ever since the bleeding episodes, I've started thinking of this one as a girl. I guess since girls babies are stronger and tend to be more resilient.

They say that right placement at a very early u/s indicates a boy, and left placement indicates a girl. According to the study, ultrasounds at 6 weeks were correct in 97% of the 5000+ pregnancies they studied. I've never had an ultrasound so early before, so learning the placental placement (before it gets pushed around by my baby) is a new thing for me! I've read of many people saying that the study didn't hold true for them, but unless you have an experienced technician who uses color doppler to look at blood flow through the cord, it's tricky to know exactly where the attachment is. We shall see! I would be happy with three boys or two boys and a girl.
