Gender hopes? Intuition? - Page 2

Ever since the bleeding episodes, I've started thinking of this one as a girl. I guess since girls babies are stronger and tend to be more resilient.

I am hoping for another girl bc I think it would be so fun to have a bunch of girls, but of course it doesn't matter. Having one of each at first would be neat, too!

I really think this baby is another boy. We have two boys.

I thought boy before our u/s, and the placental placement on the u/s solidified that.

I would be very surprised if this one is a girl.

Placental placement? Is that the left right thing? I had a dream this was a girl just now I was talking to my mom about it and she had a "checklist"

It is smile.gif They say that right placement at a very early u/s indicates a boy, and left placement indicates a girl. According to the study, ultrasounds at 6 weeks were correct in 97% of the 5000+ pregnancies they studied. I've never had an ultrasound so early before, so learning the placental placement (before it gets pushed around by my baby) is a new thing for me! I've read of many people saying that the study didn't hold true for them, but unless you have an experienced technician who uses color doppler to look at blood flow through the cord, it's tricky to know exactly where the attachment is. We shall see! I would be happy with three boys or two boys and a girl.

I've 'just known' this baby was a boy since I got my pregnancy test.  =) We'll see.

Okay, I am officially hoping for a girl. My partner is Jewish (raised very assimilated). He agreed to keeping our first son intact, but this weekend he mentione off-handedly about how he isn't sure he made the right choice about that. I feel very strongly about keeping any sons of mine intact, but I totally understand how refusing to circumcise is just another thing that discourages our children from a Jewish identity. I just rather it be a non-issue for this child.

My oldest son wants a sister. He almost cried the last time I was pregnant and he found out it was another brother. I don't care what it is. I have three boys, so another would save money on clothes (or my little girl will be wearing a lot of boy clothes!). I'd be quite happy either way! I knew my first was a boy...I even predicted his birthday! I thought my second and third were girls, so I don't have a good track record. I pretty much assume this little one is a boy. That seems to be all DH and I make!
