I already have a Language Arts and Math curriculum picked out for next year for my son who will be in 2nd grade. However, for Social studies and science I am still undecided.  I am pretty sure I want to do some "Unit Study" type work and these are the 2 programs I have looked at. Does anyone have experience with either/both of these? I am looking for opinions, especially the "bad"  I tend to like hearing not just positive, but also negative about things. makes my buying experience easier. Thanks!
