Hospital, Birth Center or Homebirth? « Back to Group Discussions

Where is everyone giving birth? Have you decided yet? 

We just had a pretty interesting discussion about making hospital births more "natural." There were some great ideas! Is anyone going that route?

We had our first two kids at a hospital with a midwife practice (separate from the OB).  I had 2 natural waterbirths, and hope to do the same again.

That sounds awesome, christineh!  We are going to a hospital.  There are 2 we can choose between.  One is close and had OB's attend deliveries and the other is further away but they have CNM's attend births.  We prefer the CNM's but we will see what happens when the time comes.  If we can make the drive, we will.

We'll be birthing in a birth center.  It's my first bebe so I'm pretty sure I'd feel more comfortable there than at home.  More room, my cats won't be in the way, etc.  I'm never quite sure which forum to look at since I don't fall into homebirth OR a hospital!
