Looking for ideas to occupy and engage your toddler?

Hi, I am a SAHM with a M. Ed and I have a blog that focuses on open-ended play and sensory play for infants through preschoolers.  My activities are budget conscious and can all be done at home.  I just started my blog (at my friends' request) and am trying to get more readers so I don't feel like I'm talking to an empty room!

If you're willing, please come check it out at:

or

funathomewithkids.com

Some of my most recent posts were about ice sensory play, foam window art, black glue watercolor painting, and a five day Leprechaun gold hunt.

Thanks!

Hi Ledbeta, I just loved your recent sensory board post. I went to our local hardware store today and bought lots of things (switches, locks, etc) to get me started. Thank you so much for sharing your efforts and ideas. My son is going to LOVE his board! :-)

Awesome!  Yes, ours are definitely a hot item over here.  Fun to shop for all the crazy stuff, right?  You are very welcome and I hope it is a hit!  :)

We did the ice activity the other day, and my 3 year old was engaged for a long time. Thanks! I'll definitely keep checking back for ideas.
