Quick and neat cut and paste?

Hi,

This is probably a silly question, but....I'm checking out  the thread "Meals on the Cheap - under $2 meal ideas" which is over 20 pages long.  I want to cut and paste the contents into a word document and start creating my meal plans that way, but a normal select all and copy brings along a lot of extra formatting that has to be deleted, etc.  Before going through all that, I thought I'd check to see if there is a way to get a "print friendly" version.

Thanks.

Hi Ariea!

Unfortunately we don't have a printer friendly feature. However, you could try using the multiquote button. Just click on the Multiquote button on the bottom of each post you want to copy the content of. Once you have finished clicking all the Multiquotes for the posts you want on a page, click the Quote button for the last post. That will place all of them into a post. from there you can copy them all by highlighting them and then copy and paste.

I'm not sure how well it will work but it's worth a try. :)

Also, when you copy into word you should get that little Clipboard popup that gives you a menu of choices. Choose Keep text Only and it will remove the formatting and smilies and all that jazz. :)

Thanks so much for the info, especially the Word tip. I didn't realize you could do that!
