Anyone else having settling in/crampy type pain?

SO this is the nerve wracking part of early pregnancy isn't it?! redface.gif Just wondered if any of you Mama's were getting these settling in type cramps and pains at all? I"m only about 4 weeks pg so am sure it's all fine and baby settling in but still....every now and then I get that low pelvic ache. And I also think I have a corpus luteum cyst on my lower right hand side, which I remember with DD1. You'd think I"d be used to this by now but nope blush.gif

How are you guys going?!

Totally Emme!! I had really uncomfortable cramping the week I got my BFP. It stopped just after 4 weeks but I know lots of mamas who experience cramping in the first few weeks. Totally common and normal.

Yep, mine stopped about 4 1/2 weeks but it was stronger this time than I remember from previous pregnancies.  The two days before AF was due and the two days after were almost period-strength.  I kept thinking I was going to start bleeding any second, but didn't.  And then peed on that stick...

Might be that I don't remember though since it has been 8+ years.  But now I just feel "heavy" down there, not crampy but "full" if that makes any sense.  I think it's implantation cramping, totally normal.

Thanks Sparkle and Sleepy....it's good to know other Mamas are going through it as well! Mine are easing up now I think but then I'll have another lot of pelvic achiness and I''ll think aaaaaaaaaaargh. FX it goes away soon. But to be honest, so far it's really my only symptom of pregnancy, other than slightly sore nipples sometimes (not helped by DD2 bf lol). ROTFLMAO.gif

Just found out that I'm pregnant on Wednesday, and have had some cramping a couple days before that and still have it from time to time. Glad I'm not the only one! I don't remember having any cramping with my first pregnancy, but maybe because this is the second time around my body knows what to do and is moving things around faster?

Yeah I reckon things are so much more pronounced after your first pregnancy, well they were for me. ;)

I get cramping a couple of times a day. Nothing too painful, dull and achy. That and other symptoms make me happy as it means the baby is sticking.

Oh my cramping has been relentless. Just when it will stop and I think I am in the clear it starts again. It's never HORRIBLE but it is uncomfortable. I am also a little over 4 weeks and AF was due today but I've had BFPs for a week now so I know I am definitely pregnant it's just scaaaary!

I think mine has settled down a lot, although now it's kind of a dragging ache type feeling. Still very disconcerting! :-/

I agree! Mine are definitely a lot less than what they were but every time I feel that twinge of pain it scares me... So much that I took an hpt after having drank so much that my pee was literally clear (TMI lol!) and the test line was sooo dark! So... Ill take it... A little peace of mind is helpful smile.gif

LOL I hear you! I've run out of things to pee on except OPKs so I just did one now and the test line was darker than the control with about 3 seconds LOL

Haha good signs, miss!

I'm having the cramping a few times throughout the day too, which makes me worry and keep checking in the bathroom if my period has started, actually wearing a pad just in case. I hope they stop soon for us all.

Yup.  Happened last time and the time before that, too.  It's fine.  :)  (Getting kind of annoying right this minute, though, I'm wondering if I need to switch chairs.)

I get painless contractions all the way through pregnancy, but it will be nice when the achy feeling goes away.  It feels uncomfortable when my boys sit in my lap, like they're leaning on my uterus.  :P

SO nerve wracking! Especially if you've had losses. I remember it with my pregnancy with my son too though and I'm hoping this goes away in a week or so! Just so achy/full feeling and pinchy too!

I am actually loving my aches and cramps. I had an early loss several years ago (chemical) and I'd had NO pregnancy symptoms. This time I got a BFP at 11 DPO and have had cramping and nausea every day. To me, this just helps confirm that this time is not like last time.

I still worry about mine sometimes, but doesn't seem to be much I can do about them. They're feeling a bit uncomfy and strong today. Haven't spotted or anything and in fact they ahd died down over the last few days so weird they've started up again. redface.gif

Mine are slowly doing the same thing, emme, but they're definitely not as strong as they were and nausea is setting in more. I'm so confused :/

If it's any reassurance, I've read loads on the internet about cramping... many women saying it's a healthy and normal sign of early pregnancy.

Mine are on and off, sometimes they get worse at night.

When I do get them, I try to imagine them as trapped energy... and it makes it feel better.

Sometimes it coincides with gas and comes just before a toilet episode :-P
