Here is what I have done so far, the baby blanket is designed by a lady I know, it was wonderfully simple and I think I'll probably knit another once we know the gender.

i have some stunning wool on its way in the post that I need to find a pattern to knit with. I also plan to sew some burp cloths. I have a nearly finished mobile on the go too.

Thank you Revolting :-)

are you on Ravelry??? If so I suggest "Looking glass longies " by Kelly Brooker.

Oh my gosh I love this thread! I can't wait to see more stuff!! I do knit, but my skills are pretty limited. I would like to knit a baby blanket or something at least. I'll have to start searching for easy patterns.

I am so excited to start crafting but I really want to wait until I know the gender.  I am excited to be going home for a month in November/December because it will give me an excuse to knit some warm stuff to the little one that I otherwise wouldn't get to in Hawaii.

You guys are making such adorable stuff for your babes. I want to get back into knitting and crocheting. Maybe ext winter...

so, is it cheating to show things I've made/am making for other people's babies?

I'm in a photo posting kind of mode so I'm going to do it anyway.  This is a quilt I made for my best friend's baby who was just born last week.  I'm also working on a new one for my pregnant niece. One of these days I'll start laying out the quilt for my baby

Love your all's crafties! I've still not finished a single project for this one yet. All my inspiration seems to be gender-specific. Danielle, what pattern did you use for the sweet tank sweaters? Do you have a Ravelry link to those? I'm Happileigh on Ravelry too.

These are so great!  I just finished a round ripple crochet blanket for mine, and now I'm working on a regular ripple.  I really need to start working on soakers, though - I can't decide whether to knit them or to crochet them.  I'm able to do both, but I am honestly much faster at crocheting.  Still, I think it would be nice to have one knit and one crochet pattern going on at the same time.

Happileigh :-) the pattern I use is called "Milo" and its by Georgie Hallam of tiKKi. It's super easy and nice and quick to knit up.
I have finished my baby mobile and bunting so I got dh to help put them up in our room tonight. Still need to work on a piece of art.
