Midwifery experience

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on experiences or heard of reviews about giving birth with Debbie Boucher from Libertyville and giving birth at Elmhurst Hospital, looking at water birth in particular. I would GREATLY appreciate any feedback. I am looking at my options right now. I wouldn't want anything too far, I live in Waukegan close to Gurnee. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear back from you.

Hello again, I don't mean to keep bugging you about this topic, but I would really like if anyone gave me true feedback. Thanks.

I haven't had any personal experience with her - I know she has a meet up group, or rather now a facebook group get together monthly - perhasp if you can connect with some of the families there you can get a sense of her?

I was supposed to deliver in the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital except dd2 came too early and was born in the car instead. I was supposed to have a water birth (you can deliver in the water) but didn't so I don't have any experience with that. It's a nice hospital, all nurses were nice, I had no problem with declining vitK, hepB, eye antibiotics and a bath for the baby. I was with a group of midwives though and I'm not sure if you can have a water birth with just anybody there?
