How do you create rhythm in your childs life?

Ive been reading various Waldorf books........and find their philosophy of creating rhythm in a childs life really interesting. A day to do a differnt activity to add positive structure to a childs life. Id love to hear how others do this... to incororate a craft day, baking day, nature day, etc I think it would help with our rhythm of bedtime rituals, mealtimes etc. I think a natural flow to everyday life is what Im hoping to achieve.

Looking forward to hearing your ideas!

Have you read "Seven Times the Sun?" It is a Waldorf book about rhythm. I checked it out of the library and got some good ideas from it.

We have a definitive rhythm in the morning and the evening. There is some rhythm to the rest of the day but there are more variables.

In the evening we go for a walk, make dinner together, eat, clean up, baths, puzzles, books, clothes ready for tomorrow, bed. We use songs and rhymes as part of our rhythm. I like to try to incorporate simple things like lighting a candle for dinner and then blowing it out when we are all finished eating.
